Slice through town down Flower street, keep on going straight, and you will end up in Harties. A little bit more bustling than Cullinan, Harties has the big dam to wink at you for lots of water fun. Worth the 50 minute drive, you will not be bored once there! Offering para-sailing, windsurfing, water and jet skiing on the dam you will get your share of sunshine enjoyment. Other activities include hang-gliding, ballooning, the cable car, zoo/snake park, golfing, fishing. Also make a pit-stop at The Windmill restaurant, just off the R511, for a quick bite or buy some home-made ‘padkos’ for the trip back.
