The Irene Dairy Farm is a picturesque gem, nestled between the sprawling cities of Pretoria and Johannesburg. A visit to this storybook dairy farm is a must. Started in 1889, the Irene Farm has been run by the van der Byl family for five generations and has become an iconic landmark in the Centurion countryside. The Dairy Shop sells the raw, certified milk that is produced right on the Irene Farm. The Shop also has a wide range of cheeses and other fresh fare. On the second level of the Dairy Shop you will find Nest Decor, which stocks a comprehensive array of quaint gifts. Moving into the farmyard, visitors can choose between the Deck or Barn Restaurants, both of which serve a wide range of freshly-made breakfast and lunch options. The Barn Restaurant, which retains so much authentic ambience because it is situated in one of the original farm barns, also serves sumptuous breakfast and brunch buffets every weekend. In addition, the Barn boasts an 80-seat conference centre, perfect for business meetings, year-end functions and staff parties. Irene Farm is also proud to announce the opening of its one-of-a-kind wedding venue. A 120 year-old red brick farm barn has been converted into a beautiful, rustic setting for a ceremony, which seats 110. Visitors are welcome to have our farm picnics on any grass areas on the farm Monday to Friday anytime of the day and on Saturdays after 14.00. Picnics cost R85 per person. * Please note that the Irene Dairy Farm is cashless environment and we accept all major debit and credit cards.
