Brasserie de Paris strives to create a superb fine dining experience for its patrons. With its location in a private residence instead of a bustling shopping centre, it quietly makes the appeal to food connoisseurs to seek it out. And its top-class gourmet food selection will definitely not disappoint! Sarie Jooste Jordaan whisked up the quaint restaurant name and relocated it to the family home of her husband, Johan Jooste, in 2005. Son of the famous architect, Karl Jooste, he supported his wife establishing the French cuisine restaurant in the house - seizing the opportunity to display it as a memento of his father’s brilliant design skills.

The house was completed in 1967, walking through it one is intrigued by arches created from intricate brick work and the aesthetic use of concrete, glass and stone. The restaurant has a variety of dining room settings – from the main dining room section next to the relaxing water feature, to the downstairs private dining areas, as well as an upstairs deck for al fresco dining functions when the weather permits. Throughout soft French music mingles with the sound of the soothing water feature. Dining options include an a la carté menu and a delicious degustation menu, made up from elements found in the a la carté. The five-course degustation option gives you an elegant fine dining experience, with portions specially formulated to entice your palate without overwhelming your stomach and superb wine pairing, including special French-style beverages. This is an ideal option to impress that important someone in your life, celebrate a momentous occasion and in general break away from monotonous food options to splendid feasting.
