Josephine’s Tea Room Review

August 22, 2017

Situated in the prestigious neighbourhood of Silverlakes, Josephine’s Tearoom has become a much loved scene for a stylish cup of tea and a moment of refreshment. Recently under new management, the quaint little shop has been revamped into an even more delightful experience. Boasting now with a more extensive menu, a lunch stop-over is more appealing than ever. For a true English High Tea experience a table can be booked, or the entire venue hired out for up to thirty people. The menu for functions can be customised to your specific needs and budget. Three-course Sunday lunches are also a treat not to miss (ranging between R150 and R180 per person, children under 12 half-price, bookings are essential) Here you will find a wide range of speciality teas that will tantalise your taste buds – peach melba, wild berry, Hawaii cocktail, Kalahari rooibos, Darjeeling fig fop, spicy chai, Sencha Sakura, Japanese cherry as well as classics like Earl Grey. Pick and choose your tea from samplers to smell, or ask Beyers to recommend a blend. These exotic creations can be bought for home-use from R80 per 100g.
