PRIMI Piatti came onto the restaurant scene in 1999 with its first store in Cape Town. Now it can boast with 41 stores locally and internationally (including Namibia and Botswana) With its unique energetic family orientated environment, it’s easy to see why this brand has made such great headway in the industry.
Locally we have three stores: the original Menlyn Primi Piatti, Centurion Primi Pulse and the Irene Primi Village. Primi Centurion has now also extended its repertoire to include the @The Studio concept. This trendy idea consists of a lounge that will include entertainment ranging from live music, to comedy and quiz nights, to poetry and book launches. House DJs will pump up the volume over weekends, combine it with the diverse cocktail menu and you are sorted for an evening of fun.
The space can also be hired out for private or corporate functions.
The new lounge at Primi Centurion was introduced with a bang, the Miss Earth Finalists joined the party and the night was kicked off with a unique in-house Latin American style band. Another original idea of Primi – giving staff members with musical talent the chance to enjoy themselves on stage. The studio was christened with Roger Goode providing the pumping beats for the night.
Primi also introduced its spiced up new menu with imaginative dishes, here’s a few to tickle your taste buds for a visit:
Antipasti: Bruschetta Pomodoro - grilled ciabatta, garlic-rubbed and topped with fresh tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil, a dash of lemon and fresh oregano. Garnished with fresh basil.
Pasta: Adriatico - imported Italian tuna, cherry tomatoes, red onion, olive tapenade, garlic & dried chilli, sautéed in extra virgin olive oil with fresh oregano and basil.
