Mystic Monkeys and Feathers Wildlife Park

A game park on our doorstep, with reasonable prices! Only 45minutes North of Pretoria in the Rust de Winter area, pop out of the city for a quick day visit. This park hosts one of South Africa's largest private primate collections, with 38 species, including Sables, Nyalas, Kudus, Golden Oryx as well as a large number of exotic birds. Open from Monday to Sunday, 09:00 to 16:00, you can enjoy a family outing of an hour game drive at R100 per adult, children 3-13 years only R50 and free entrance for children under 3. To book a private game drive, a minimum of 6 people is required. Another fun element is the interactive play sessions at R300 per person with a variety of different animal species. Groenkloof Nature Reserve Review

The beauty of the Groenkloof valley was discovered in the 1820's. Impala, kudu, blue wildebeest, ostrich, giraffe and red hartebeest were re-introduced to the reserve during 1999 - 2002. Situated only 5km from the city centre, a variety of activities are available. From hiking trails, ranging from 4km to 10.5km, to weekend trails; a guided horse trail, night drives, mountain biking trails of up to 20km, a motorcar route of about 6km and a 4x4 trail.
