    Fun Run/Walk at the Zoo

    Put a bit of exercise in your weekend and throw some nature in the mix. The monthly National Zoological Gardens of South Africa’s 5km Fun Run/Walk at the Pretoria Zoo is hosted by the Friends of the Zoo society and costs R30 for non-members of the society and R20 for children under the age of 15. If you want to become a member of the society, it will cost you R20 per event. This includes entry to the zoo, as well as a medal received upon completion of the race. Events take place every third Saturday of the month, starting time is 06:30AM and the gates open at 06:15AM for registration. Free, safe parking is available for participants at the zoo’s main entrance until 08:00AM. Click here for more information.

    Adventure Bootcamp

    It’s the latest craze in fitness. If you haven’t heard of it before, it’s a type of outdoor group exercise. Mixing callisthenic and body weight exercises, with strength training, you will be pushed to your limit.
