The Lion King Live in Concert 

Disney’s re-make of The Lion King comes to the stage at Sun Arena Time Square this December. Bring the kids along to see all the movie magic on the big screen. The live score will be performed by the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Eddie Clayton. With an 84 piece orchestra, this is set to be a musical extravaganza. Mzansi Fela Festival

The SA State Theatre has gone all out with its festive season theatre shows, bringing you the very best live music from some of the top performing artists in the country. With headliners, Zonke, Thandiswa Mazwai, Caiphus Semenya, Samthing Soweto and Ringo Madlingozi, bringing you 22 days of festive celebrations.

New Year’s Eve Concert 

Brooklyn Theatre presents their ninth annual New Year’s Eve Concert in 2019. Gifting you with the perfect way to see off the old year and welcome in the new. This year’s concert performance is super exciting, as it features world-famous Russian Concert Harpist, Sasha Boldachev, backed by the Kalinka String Quintet performing an elegant compilation of works by Russian composers like Tchaikovsky and Rimsky-Korsakov. In addition, the French concerto for harp and strings by Damase will be featured, as well as arrangements of popular pieces by David Bowie, Queen, Nirvana, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and some Russian Folk songs. It’s a Midnight in Moscow, so don’t miss out.
