Aandklas might have a different meaning to some, but for the people of Hatfield, it means going to the rock n roll pub of Hatfield. It’s been a favourite amongst students for years, and a favourite it will stay. The bar offers drink specials daily. Be sure to check out their Facebook Page for details on events such as quiz nights and gigs.

Don’t let the name Café Livingstone fool you, as this is another favourite among the students. This is one of the oldest bars and restaurants in the Hatfield area, where there’s always cold beer on tap. Their prices are competitive and low enough to fit most, if not all student budgets. With Varsity Cup season at its peak, come through to have a cold one while watching the game.

Terra Rooftop Lounge and Cocktail Bar
View Pretoria from the gorgeous Terra Rooftop Lounge and Cocktail Bar. This is one of the newer additions to Hatfield, and also has a more club than pub vibe. As the name suggests, Terra has a lounge-like atmosphere, with comfortable seating and signature cocktails to enjoy as you view the sun setting over Hatfield. Visit Terra for a nice chilled cocktail evening or partake in the fun at quiz nights.

Jolly’s is the place on “The Strip” to be. Jolly Roger is known for their ultimate DJ line-ups as well as their Sunday pizza specials.
