Although this relaxing spot offers some of the most decadent baked treats and comfort foods that’s sure to lift your mood and have you coming back for more, they also offer delicious dishes perfect for those looking for healthy options. The Gluten-Free Naked Burger with sweet potato chips and crème fraîche is an absolute must-try (see the picture below to see why)! We’ll have to make another visit to try their Harvest Salad – a fresh medley of gooseberries, roasted beetroot and butternut, feta, rocket and couscous with a nush balsamic reduction – and the Carpaccio Salad with rocket, radishes, orange wedges, Parmesan shavings and toasted walnuts drizzled with coffee-balsamic glaze. Yum!

Now, when you think pizza and pasta, it doesn’t really scream “healthy eating”. BUT, Col’ Cacchio Pizzeria does offer a lovely selection of healthy options to choose from! Their menu (do keep in mind that they have a reduced menu due to the COVID-19 pandemic) has vegan, vegetarian, low carb and VITALITY HEALTHYDINING dishes that aren’t just healthy, but oh-so delicious! A few of your favourites includes the Ortigiano – artichokes, asparagus, olives, green pepper, and mushroom; the Zucca – dairy-free nut based cheese, butternut and tomato base, roasted butternut, roasted beetroot, rocket, avo, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds; and Norm’s Pralina – butternut and tomato base, roasted butternut, chilli, feta, pumpkin seed praline and rocket. And as for pasta, the Cielo – basil pesto, cream, mushroom, baby spinach, cherry tomatoes, spring onion, and *italian parmesan.

At La Coco C Food Purveyor, their food is as good for the body as it is for the taste buds. This spot is a firm favourite in the city’s vegetarian and vegan community, and for good reason!
